For over twenty years, I have leveraged my experience to build resilient and creative communities, transitioning from practitioner to charity leader.
I am a visionary leader with a proven record of successfully empowering communities that experience disadvantage. Now, I am leveraging my expertise in community engagement and creative problem solving to emerging and established leaders to promote the positive impact of creativity on individuals and societies.
Recognised as a cultural leader in Manchester, I am CEO of the award-winning charity Afrocats and a member of the Manchester Cultural Consortium Steering Group. As a member of the Manchester Cultural Strategy Steering Group; I was involved in developing the 10-year plan for Manchester's cultural strategy.
I was awarded the Diane Oxberry Special Impact Award in 2024 for my work supporting refugees and sanctuary seekers in Greater Manchester.
